To order
You don't need to register on citabooks.com to place an order. Simply click on “Add to cart” to add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket. You can add more items at any time by browsing the website and clicking on the “Add to cart” button. The items will be automatically added to your cart and the new prices will be calculated. You can also remove an unwanted item at any time by reducing the quantity to zero in the shopping cart or by clicking on the cross button next to the item you wish to remove.
When you have finished shopping, click on the “Cart” button in the upper right-hand corner of the web page. Then fill in your contact details and delivery address on the shop page. After reviewing the contents of your cart (items, total amount and contact details), click the “Checkout” button to proceed to the next step.
The website will automatically redirect you to a payment processing service platform, where you can provide your payment details via a secure payment form. Please review your purchase carefully before approving the final payment. We cannot cancel orders after payment confirmation.
Once the order has been confirmed, you will receive two emails. First, you will receive an automatic receipt from the transaction provider, and second, a confirmation email with your order number, summary of your products, payment, and shipping details.
*If an item in your order is no longer available, you will be notified shortly and the order amount will be fully refunded to your card.

Payment
The website accepts credit and debit card payments from the world's major banks. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal.
The Cita Books payment page is managed by a secure third-party provider, which guarantees that the customer's bank details are encrypted and remain private. No external party can access the information you provide.
Delivery
All orders are shipped from Madrid (Spain) via Correos (the Spanish state-owned company with national and international parcel service). Books are sent by registered mail, which allows us to track your order and guarantee delivery.
Will I be notified when my order has been shipped?
You will be notified that your order has been shipped once payment has been processed and it is ready to be shipped.
You will receive a purchase receipt upon delivery. When filling in your details on the shop page, you have the option to provide any information you deem appropriate in ‘Comments on the order’.
When will the order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped the day after it is processed, provided it is a working day (Monday to Friday). If you place your order during the weekend or on a public holiday, it will be shipped later.
For the UK, standard orders will be delivered within 3 to 8 working days after the date of collection and for overseas orders, standard orders will be delivered within 5 to 8 working days after the date of collection, depending on the distance to the delivery address.
How much does shipping cost?
The prices shown on the website do not include shipping costs. You can consult the price tables below to find out how much it will cost to ship your order.
Shipping costs depend on the weight and size of the order and its destination. We only ship orders to countries belonging to the European Union (except the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein).
NATIONAL: Spain (Peninsula and Balearic Islands):
All national shipments are certified. When the shipment arrives at its destination, the recipient must sign a delivery note. If delivery is not possible, a notice will be left in the mailbox indicating the office where the order can be collected within 15 days.
Standard certified shipping (3-5) up to 2 kg:
*Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra are exempt from indirect taxes.
INTERNATIONAL (EU): Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

What happens in case of delivery problems?
In the event of delivery problems, you will only be notified once the payment has been processed and the order is ready to be shipped.
If your order has been returned to us, we will contact you to inform you. We will offer to resend your package, which will be subject to additional shipping costs (not included in your initial payment).

Returns and exchanges policy
We cannot CANCEL orders after receiving payment confirmation, but we can accept the return of the product and refund the amount if the product is damaged.
We can CHANGE billing or shipping information after confirming the purchase, as long as the order has not yet been shipped. You can request this by writing to the following email address: hello@citabooks.com.
We can only accept RETURNS of items if they are damaged. In that case, a return and a refund will be offered without any additional shipping charge for you. All shipping costs and the amount of the product will be refunded.
You have 30 days from receipt of your order to return an item. You can return the item, as long as it is in its original condition.
To return an item, send us an email with your name, address, order ID number and a description of the problem to the following email address: hello@citabooks.com. You will receive a reply with a return number and other details within 2 working days.
Once we have received your return, it will take approximately 14 days for the refund to appear in your account used to make the initial payment. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
The item must be returned by registered post (which means we must sign for your package). We do not accept any responsibility for packages that do not reach us or that are lost in the mail. In this case, the shipping costs and the amount of the product are not refunded.
